Forestry Mulching is a land clearing method that uses a single machine to cut, grind, and clear vegetation resulting in an efficient low-cost method to tree and brush reduction. By processing the vegetation and trees where they stand, many of the traditional land clearing steps are eliminated. Forestry Mulching evolved as a method of removing brush, trees, and unwanted overgrowth while improving erosion control and conserving precious topsoil. Specialized equipment that has less ground disturbance as traditional equipment is used to shred, chip, or “mulch” the vegetation and this mulch-like material is spread evenly across the cleared site.
